Our Purpose

Stop the Siege Brno seeks to shed light on the ongoing atrocities and injustices faced by people in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and other regions plagued by colonization and militarized aggression. Through education, advocacy, and creative expression, we aim to:

• Raise Awareness: Counter biased narratives and misinformation by providing factual, nuanced perspectives on the realities of the ongoing sieges and humanitarian crises.
• Foster Solidarity: Build bridges between communities, standing in support of those affected by oppression and dismantling the prejudices that isolate and dehumanize.
• Demand Accountability: Call for fair media reporting, challenge complicity in war crimes, and oppose military and financial support for oppressive regimes.

What We Stand For

• Justice for the Oppressed: We center the voices of Palestinians, Syrians, and Lebanese communities, highlighting their resilience against colonization, military aggression, and systemic violence. We stand for justice—relentlessly, unapologetically, and without compromise. For the Palestinians whose land, culture, and dignity are being erased under the weight of occupation. For the Syrians, displaced and destroyed by war, fighting for their right to live free from bombs and violence. For the Lebanese, who have endured decades of destruction yet continue to resist, proud of their heritage and determined to preserve it. We center their voices, their struggles, their resilience—and we refuse to allow them to be reduced to statistics, forgotten in the media’s cold indifference.
• Cultural Preservation: We celebrate and protect the rich heritage of these regions, emphasizing their connection to the ancient Canaanite civilizations, and resisting erasure. We stand for the preservation of culture, history, and identity. The ancient lands of Canaan, the sacred heritage of the Levant—these are not just places on a map. These are the birthplaces of civilizations, the heartbeats of stories passed down through generations. We are not just fighting for land; we are fighting for the memory of a people, for the right to exist, to remember, to create.
• Opposition to Islamophobia and Xenophobia: We actively confront Islamophobia in the Czech Republic and beyond, while challenging xenophobic narratives that perpetuate hate and division. We stand against Islamophobia, against xenophobia, against hate in all its forms. In the face of rising bigotry, we fight to protect the dignity of every human being, no matter their faith, color, or background. We reject the lies that divide us, and we confront the fears that breed hatred with a message of unity, compassion, and solidarity.
